Born and raised in Germany until 2008, Alex and his family moved to Oakville to pursue new opportunities in education at Appleby College. After graduating, Alex completed his Bachelor of Economics degree at Carleton University in the nation's capital. There he gained valuable experience in the real estate industry working for a reputable property management company, attaining new leases for three mid-rise apartment buildings in the Sandy Hill area. Jasmin studied Political Science at Carleton University before going on to complete her Bachelor of Education. After teaching for several years, her enthusiasm for real estate led her to join her husband in starting a full-service design and custom renovation company. With him leading projects as a contractor, she decided to pursue her diploma in Interior Design. Real Estate has always fascinated me since the purchase of my first home in 1983!
After an amazing, successful, 35+ year career in sales and sales management in the Hi-Tech Electronics Industry, I have chosen to pursue a new beginning as in Real Estate. Now, after completing my first two years, and obtaining additional professional development, I have received my Brokers certification.

The GTA has been my home since the age of 3 and after graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, I decided to make Oakville my permanent residence where I have raised my 3 daughters.

I have known Brett Smiley for over 40 years, and we spent our summer months in 1982 backpacking through Europe. It seemed a natural fit for me to join The Brett Smiley Team at Royal LePage for my second career.

I have played both hockey and baseball at the highest competitive amateur levels and can be found on the links at The Oakville Golf Club in my spare time during the summer months. Other interests include biking, hiking, volunteering with the Mississauga Rebels in the GTHL as well as the annual Courage Polar Bear Dip. I have also been a regular blood donor with over 115 donations.

We are delighted to reintroduce Erica to the Smiley Team! Many of our long-time clients may remember her from her previous five-year tenure with us. Erica brings over two decades of experience in real estate, having served as both an administrator and a licensed salesperson. 

Her extensive knowledge of real estate processes and procedures, coupled with her exceptional problem-solving skills, will be invaluable to our team. Outside of work, Erica cherishes quality time with her husband Colin and two young sons, who are members of the ErinoakKids and Deaf communities. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking, researching family genealogy, and engaging in home improvement projects, while also learning American Sign Language. A lifelong resident of West Mississauga, she is dedicated to contributing to the Halton and Peel communities, particularly through her advocacy for increased funding for the Ontario Assisted Devices Support Program (ADP) and additional resources for children with hearing loss.
